Michael Saylor: About 80% of Strategy preferred stock STRC is held by retail investors

Strategy founder Michael Saylor said about 80% of the perpetual preferred stock STRC issued by the company is owned by retail investors. The product pays monthly dividends and currently yields an annualized rate of approximately 11.5%.<br /> The STRC is designed as a low-volatility yield instrument trading around a $100 face value and can adjust dividend yields based on market conditions, Saylor said. Strategy has raised funds through the product this year and allocated bitcoin, with a cumulative investment of nearly $3 billion, and plans to raise a total of $42 billion through related financing arrangements, of which $21 billion is STRC. Benchmark analysts pointed out that as STRC demand grows, Strategy's Bitcoin allocation capabilities may continue to increase.
