Moonwell under governance attack, attackers want to use $1800 to control more than a million dollars in funds

According to TheBlock, DeFi lending agreement Moonwell is facing a governance attack on its Moonriver deployment. An unknown attacker spent approximately US$1800 to buy approximately 40 million MFAM tokens, completed the purchase, initiated a proposal, and voted for review in approximately 11 minutes, attempting to withdraw approximately US$1.08 million in user funds by transferring the administrator rights of core contracts such as seven lending markets, controllers and oracle machines to the contract under its control. Currently, voting on the proposal will last until March 27. The quorum has been reached in the early stage, and then the negative vote dominates, but the final result still depends on the remaining votes and coordination. Moonwell could also veto the proposal and regain control by urgently oversigning the "BreakGlassGuardian".
