XFX completes US$17 million financing led by CastleIsland Ventures

XFX, a foreign exchange trading startup that supports stablecoin trading, has completed a US$17 million financing, led by CastleIsland Ventures, with HaunVentures and Coinbase Ventures participating. XFX co-founder and CEO Santiago Alvarado declined to disclose the company's valuation for the financing. It is reported that in addition to allowing customers to exchange between stablecoins, XFX currently allows customers to exchange three legal currencies: the US dollar, Mexican peso and Colombia peso.
