Reuters survey: UK inflation is expected to fall to 2.8% in next quarter

On March 26, according to a Reuters survey: UK inflation is expected to fall to 2.8% in the next quarter and remain at an average level of 3.4% in the second half of 2026. Twenty-eight of the 50 economists (56%) believe that the Bank of England will maintain its benchmark interest rate at 3.75% until the end of the fourth quarter (compared with just 7% in the March 12 survey).
