AlchemyPay and its investment company HTF Securities receive Hong Kong SFC Category 1 license upgrades

Crypto payments company AlchemyPay announced that its Hong Kong strategic investment target HTFSecurities Limited has received approval from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) to upgrade its Type 1 (securities trading) license to virtual asset trading services, covering professional and retail investors. Previously, the two parties have jointly completed the VA upgrade of Category 4 licenses, and are advancing the application for Category 9 license upgrade to gradually build a virtual asset license system in Hong Kong.<br /> In addition, AlchemyChain, the public stablecoin payment chain launched by AlchemyPay, was launched on the test network in March this year. Since its launch, the number of test addresses has exceeded 150,000, providing underlying support for the implementation of its stablecoin payment ecosystem.
