Solana bets on AI agents: Foundation says the network is becoming the core infrastructure of the "Internet of Agents"

The core of Solana's strategy is payment infrastructure. The network has processed About 15 million on-chain payments initiated by agents are mainly used for inter-machine commercial transactions. The programmatic nature of encrypted payments is the key to attracting agents, and stablecoins will become the default way to pay for any computing resources. VibhuNorby believes that this will fundamentally reshape the Internet business model, making micro-payments and pay-per-use possible that traditional payment channels cannot support. The Solana Foundation emphasizes that its high-performance design has advantages in this new paradigm: "Agents are calm, precise machines... If you ask agents how to use encryption to pay, Solana is often the top choice." In addition, advances in AI technology have lowered development barriers, and Solana developers are directly building tools for AI systems, including machine-readable "skills" files and AI-first development platforms. Norby expects that in the future, users will interact with encryption with agents as the default method, and 95% to 99% of transactions will be initiated by Large Language Models (LLMs).
