Bitwise: Circle could be valued at US$75 billion in 2030
According to TheBlock, after Circle's share price fell sharply due to regulatory concerns, asset manager Bitwise said it could be valued at US$75 billion by 2030, believing the market was overreacting.
Matt Hougan, chief investment officer of Bitwise, said that the relevant bill did not change the basic growth logic of the stablecoin market, and cited Citigroup's forecast that the size of the stablecoin market could reach US$1.9 trillion by 2030. He pointed out that interest income is not the core driver of stablecoin growth.
In addition, William Blair and other institutions believe that despite the uncertainty of regulatory statements, the value of stablecoins in cross-border B2B payments is obvious and the long-term prospects have not been materially affected. Some analysts also pointed out that restricting income distribution may instead weaken competitors 'ability to attract liquidity through high returns, thereby benefiting Circle.
