U.S. House of Representatives to hold securities tokenization hearing

The U.S. House Financial Services Committee will hold a "Tokenization and the Future of Securities" hearing at 22:00 on March 25, 2026 (UTC+8) to discuss the impact of securities tokenization on capital markets, investor protection and regulatory frameworks, and review draft legislation requiring the SEC and CFTC to study the tokenization market. Witnesses at the meeting included Kenneth Bentsen, President of SIFMA, SummerMersinger, CEO of Blockchain Association, Christian Sabella, Deputy General Counsel of DTCC, John Zecca, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer of Nasdaq, and Salman Banaei, General Counsel of PlumeNetwork.
