Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant was attacked three times in 10 days
On March 28, Iranian media reported that Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant was attacked on the night of March 27. No damage to the nuclear power plant was found to have been caused by the attack, and no casualties were reported. The report pointed out that the nuclear power plant is in operation and stores a large amount of radioactive materials. An attack on it may cause a serious nuclear accident. Attacks by the United States and Israel on peaceful nuclear energy facilities violate international law and pose a serious security threat to the region. The International Atomic Energy Agency released a message late at night on the 27th that it had received a report from Iran that the Bushehr nuclear power plant was attacked again that day. This was the third time the nuclear power plant had been attacked in 10 days. The Iranian notification also stated that the operating reactor was not damaged and no radiation leaks occurred. The International Atomic Energy Agency said its Director General Carlos Grosi called on all parties to exercise maximum military restraint and avoid the risk of a nuclear accident.
