People familiar with the matter: Iran believes the option of negotiating with the United States has been shelved before the ceasefire in Lebanon

On April 10, according to Iranian media, a person familiar with the matter said: Tehran believes that the option of negotiating with Washington has been ruled out until a comprehensive ceasefire is achieved in Lebanon, and the country has clearly expressed this position. The person familiar with the matter revealed that one of the current options is to block the Strait of Hormuz. He also said: "Judging from statistics and field monitoring data starting this morning, it is clear that this important sea channel is still closed and this situation will continue until a comprehensive ceasefire is reached with Lebanon."
