Iranian media: Iranian Speaker will meet with Pakistani Prime Minister to discuss the form of Iran-US negotiations
On April 11, according to a report by the Islamic Republic of Iran Radio and Television on the 11th, the Speaker of the Islamic Parliament of Iran Karibaf will hold talks with Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz on the same day to agree on the time and form of negotiations between Iran and the United States. According to Tasnim News Agency, Iran will raise the issue of U.S. breach of commitments with Pakistani Prime Minister during the talks. Preconditions for starting negotiations include the unfreezing of Iranian assets and a ceasefire in Lebanon. The United States has told Pakistan to agree to these preconditions and other conditions for starting negotiations. The Iranian delegation plans to evaluate the U.S. position and its implementation of its commitments during the talks before deciding whether to negotiate with the United States. Tasnim News Agency said in a separate report that if Iran and the United States can hold negotiations, the current plan is that the negotiations start later on the 11th and may only last for one day.
