The White House did not say how long the Iranian port blockade will last
On April 16, White House Press Secretary Levitt did not say how long the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports would last. "Regarding the blockade, as you know, the measure has been fully implemented and is being implemented against all ships of various countries entering and exiting Iranian ports," Levitt said."This includes all Iranian ports along the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman." She added: "We support freedom of navigation but do not include any tankers or ships that would benefit the Iranian economy, especially as the negotiations continue." (Wall Street Journal)
