Galaxy Research Director: U.S. OFAC sanctions list involves 518 Bitcoin addresses

Alex Thorn, director of research at GalaxyDigital, issued a document on the X platform that the U.S. Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Sanctions List (SDN List) historically involved a total of 518 Bitcoin addresses, receiving a total of 249,814 BTC and sending 239,708 BTC. Currently, it holds approximately 9,306 BTC, which is approximately US$707 million based on the current market price.<br /> Thorn also said that OFAC sanctions are only one of the means used by the United States to intercept illegal assets, and the CLARITY Act will further expand the relevant powers of the Treasury Department.
