South Korean counterfeiting gang accepts cryptocurrency payment and sells fake college diplomas for about $200

According to DLNews, South Korean counterfeiting gangs are selling fake official documents to users through Telegram and preferentially accepting cryptocurrency or digital gift cards for payment. Among them, a fake Yonsei University diploma sells for about $200, an admission certificate is quoted for about $100, and a fake diploma from an overseas university sells for about $341.<br /> Reported that the gang also provided driver's license, kinship certificate, no criminal record certificate and bank loan documents and other forged materials. South Korean police say the number of people arrested for forgery almost doubled between 2021 and 2023.
