The Vercel security incident is suspected to be related to internal database and key disclosure information

23pds, chief information security officer of Slowfog Technology, tweeted that the unauthorized access to the internal system of cloud hosting platform Vercel was suspected to be related to internal data leakage. Relevant tweets said that someone called himself ShinyHunters on BreachForums and sold the so-called Vercel internal database, access keys, source code, employee accounts, APIkeys, NPMtokens and GitHubtokens for US$2 million. The relevant data is suspected to involve Vercel's internal Linear system and internal user management system. Previously, cloud hosting platform Vercel disclosed that its internal systems were accessed without authorization, affecting a small number of customers.
