According to Cointelegraph, the Polish Parliament has not yet passed the domestic bill supporting the EU's "Cryptographic Asset Market Regulatory Framework" MiCA, becoming the last member state of the EU to have not completed relevant legislation. As the MiCA transition period ends on July 1, if the bill continues to be shelved, local encryption companies may face greater obstacles to their compliance operations in the European market. Some companies have considered moving to Latvia, the Czech Republic and other countries. Earlier, Polish President Karol Nawrocki twice vetoed the bill on the grounds that it was too heavy a regulatory burden and could hit small businesses.
