BlackRock CEO: Tokenized funds will revolutionize the financial system

On March 24, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink said in his annual shareholder letter that tokenized assets and digital wallets are expected to modernize the financial system and make it more efficient and inclusive. He likened the move to the Internet's transformation of traditional communications, such as email, and pointed out that current capitalism fails to benefit enough workers. Fink called for a clear regulatory framework and revealed that BlackRock has managed nearly US$15 billion in assets in the digital asset space, of which BUIDL Fund is the world's largest tokenized fund. He emphasized that tokenization is not a hot spot, but a key path to help more people participate in investment.
