Ronin will move to Ethereum to become OPStackL2 RON Inflation will fall below 1%
The game public chain Ronin announced that it will migrate to Ethereum Layer2 on May 12, when there will be a 10-hour downtime window for on-chain operations, and normal operation will resume after the migration is completed. Its underlying architecture will be built based on OPStack and connected to EigenDA as the data availability layer. It suggests that users release RON pledge before migration date, or the system automatically releases pledge for users after migration is completed. The core goal of this migration is to enable Ronin to leverage Ethereum's security, data availability and final settlement capabilities while injecting mature on-chain gaming infrastructure into the Ethereum ecosystem. Ronin serves as the underlying network for well-known on-chain games such as AxieInfinity and Pixels, and this move is seen as an important milestone in its ecological development. After the migration is completed, RON's annual inflation rate will drop from more than 20% to below 1%, and the treasury will add continued income from pledges, Sequencer net income and Marketplace handling fees (the proportion will increase from 0.5% to 1.25%).
