Katana incubated by Polygon acquires IDEX to launch new Perps product

Theblock reports that Katana, a public chain specifically designed for DeFi incubated by Polygon Labs and GSR, has acquired decentralized exchange IDEX to support its new KatanaPerps product and has received support from market makers GSR, SeliniCapital and Auros.<br /> It is reported that IDEX was originally built on Ethereum and later expanded to Polygon. It is one of the first decentralized exchanges to combine a high-performance matchmaking engine with on-chain settlement. IDEX combines traditional centralized order books and automated market makers (AMM) to provide continuous liquidity and faster execution speeds.
