Iranian lawmaker says US destroyers need more frigates

On May 9, according to CCTV International News, Ali Herzrian, a member of the National Security Committee of the Iranian Parliament, said on May 8 that the US maritime blockade of Iran is regarded as a military act, and military actions require a military response. Herzlian also said the United States should now equip its destroyers with additional frigates so that if one of them starts to sink, at least another ship can come to rescue and evacuate people.
