The Central Office of China issued new regulations prohibiting state-owned enterprise leaders from accepting virtual currency and other property
The General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council of China issued the "Regulations on Integrity Practice of Leaders of State-owned Enterprises", which clearly requires that leaders of state-owned enterprises shall not use their powers to seek personal gain, including accepting gifts, gifts, securities and virtual currency and other property provided by affiliated enterprises or business dealings of the enterprise, nor shall they agree to accept relevant benefits after leaving office or retirement. The regulations emphasize that leaders of state-owned enterprises must strictly abide by party discipline, state laws and enterprise rules and regulations, distinguish between public and private, be honest and trustworthy, prevent power-for-money transactions and systemic corruption, and strengthen the protection of state-owned assets and integrity and self-discipline.
