Ethereum DeFi market share fell to 54% hit a nearly one-year low

According to CryptoSlate, Ethereum's share of DeFi's total locked value (TVL) has dropped from 63.5% at the beginning of 2025 to about 54% currently, setting a nearly one-year low.<br /> According to the latest data from DefiLlama, Ethereum's DeFiTVL is approximately US$45.4 billion, still leading the way, but public chains such as Solana (6.66%), BNBChain (6.60%), Bitcoin (6.35%), Tron (6.17%), Base (5.44%) and Hyperliquid (1.81%) are gradually eating away from its share.
