In February this year, several China citizens were raided by the police in a rented villa in CountryHeights, Kajang, Malaysia. The police said they suspected that China citizens were involved in fraud, and then China citizens were forced to transfer about US$50,000 (about RM200, 000) of USDT. The police subsequently arrested 12 police officers involved in the case and relieved them of their front-line duties. However, the investigation still has to wait for technical reports and digital evidence collection results, and there has been no breakthrough so far.<br /> Charles, a lawyer representing the eight China victims, said that the investigation of the case was too slow. The 12 police officers involved in the case had not responded since their arrest. They were suspected of internal interference in an attempt to suppress the case, and warned that if there was internal cover-up, they would file a complaint to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.
