Early Kalshi employees establish a predictive market venture capital fund supported by Kalshi and Polymarket CEOs
On March 23, Fortune magazine reported that Adhi Rajaprabhakaran, an early employee of Kalshi, established a fund called 5c(c)Capital, which has been raising US$35 million to invest in startups in the prediction market. It is reported that the fund's partner is Adhi Rajaprabhakaran, the second trader hired by Kalshi's market maker; another partner in the fund is Noah Zingler-Sternig, Kalshi's former operating director. In addition to Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour and Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan, the fund's early backers include venture capital giant Marc Andreessen (investing through its fund MonetaLuna); Micky Malka, founder of fintech investment firm RibbitCapital; and Kyle Samani, former managing partner of cryptocurrency venture capital firm Multicoin Capital, the documents show.
