Iranian media: Iran has rejected US proposal
On May 11, Iranian News TV reported on the evening of the 10th that Iran had rejected the plan proposed by the United States, believing that agreeing to the plan would mean Iran bowing to the excessive demands of US President Trump. The report said that Iran asked the United States to pay war reparations and confirmed Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz. Iran also stressed the need to end sanctions against Iran and unfreeze the country's frozen assets. Earlier in the day, Iranian media reported that Iran had formally submitted its response to the latest U.S. plan to end the war to the Pakistan mediator. Trump posted on social media saying he was dissatisfied with Iran's response, calling it "completely unacceptable." (Xinhua Agency)
