Upbit announced that Hedera (HBAR) will suspend service subscriptions due to network upgrades

On May 15, South Korean crypto trading platform Upbit announced that due to the upgrade of the Hedera network, HBAR's coin charging and withdrawal functions will be temporarily suspended from 23:00 (KST) on May 20, 2026 until network stability is confirmed and restored. The announcement pointed out that this suspension only affects the asset recharge and withdrawal function, and HBAR spot trading will not be affected. Upbit reminds users that deposits made before and after the suspension may be delayed or cannot be received, and some transactions may also be delayed in confirmation during network congestion or upgrade windows. The recharge and recovery time will be announced separately based on the completion of the network upgrade, and close communication will be maintained with the project party to ensure asset security.
