BitcoinDepot: There are 'significant doubts' about continuing operations due to ongoing litigation and challenging regulatory environment
Cryptocurrency ATM company BitcoinDepot said there are "significant doubts" about whether the company can continue to operate due to ongoing litigation and a challenging regulatory environment. On Tuesday, BitcoinDepot Chief Financial Officer David Gray filed a Form 10-Q with the Securities and Exchange Commission that the company accumulated more than $20 million in legal judgments and "ongoing litigation matters" in the fourth quarter of 2025. The company also reported that its "revenue dropped significantly year-on-year" as U.S. state and local governments passed laws and regulations to ban or restrict cryptocurrency ATMs. "As a result of these factors, management believes there are significant doubts about the company's ability to continue as a going concern," the report said.
