Other bridge assets have not been affected yet. The Verus network has now been suspended, and most nodes that have been disconnected have taken the initiative to go offline after encountering the derivative impact of the attack. The development team is making every effort to investigate the scope of the incident, attack paths and subsequent treatment plans, and will announce progress after confirming more information. Verus said that it is willing to cooperate with relevant law enforcement agencies to pursue legal liability; however, if the attacker returns the funds in full, the project party is willing to provide a reward for the loopholes and will not pursue further responsibility. Verus also reminds anyone who claims to be a member of the Verus team or community and provides "compensation" and "compensation plans" on public channels, private messages or other channels are a fraudster.
