Survey: Most UK workers expect AI to cause mass unemployment
May 19, a survey by King's College London found that with the spread of artificial intelligence, most British workers are expected to experience mass unemployment. Surveys show that Britons believe occupations such as plumbers are relatively safe, while junior white-collar jobs are at risk. British workers are less concerned about threats to their jobs. At the same time, one in five Britons believe that job losses caused by artificial intelligence will trigger "civil strife."
