BlackRock CEO is optimistic about the US$20 trillion token market and calls for improving the regulatory framework
According to DLNews, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink once again supports asset token technology, believing that it can effectively lower investment thresholds and allow more ordinary people to participate in the capital market. Fink pointed out that nearly half of Americans currently do not participate in open market investments, and the development of artificial intelligence will further aggravate the problem of wealth concentration, and tokenization may be the key to breaking the situation. BlackRock predicts that the tokenized market will reach US$20 trillion by 2030, covering traditional financial assets such as stocks, ETFs, indices and commodities. At present, Robinhood, Kraken and other institutions have taken the lead in launching tokenized stock products. Fink also emphasized that market development still depends on the implementation of a clear regulatory framework, including supporting systems such as buyer protection mechanisms, counterparty risk standards and digital identity verification.
