Trump: Negotiations with Iran 'are going very well'

On March 23, U.S. President Trump said in a telephone interview with AFP on the 23rd that negotiations with Iran were "progressing very smoothly." Trump earlier posted on social media that the United States and Iran had had a dialogue in the past two days. Since then, Trump has been interviewed by at least three media outlets, including the US Consumer News and Business Channel, US Fox News Channel and AFP. According to Trump, both the United States and Iran are keen to reach an agreement. However, the Iranian side denied that it had had a dialogue with the United States that day. (Xinhua Agency)
