Bitget and UNICEF launch second year of cooperation to add AI courses
Bitget announced that it has entered its second year of cooperation with UNICEF. Since its launch, the alliance has reached more than 642,000 teenagers, parents and teachers in eight countries including Armenia, Brazil, Cambodia, India, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Morocco and South Africa, of which 52% are female participants. According to the plan, AI and other modules will be added in the next phase of GCC courses.
Launched by the UNICEF Innovation Office, GCC aims to provide digital skills education to young people in emerging economies. Bitget joined the alliance in June 2025 through a partnership with UNICEF in Luxembourg. In the first year of cooperation, Bitget supported the advancement of GCC projects through multiple activities, including BitgetCMOIgnacioAguirre's on-site visit to Cambodia for digital skills training projects, and CEOGraceChen's support for GCC's first global UNICEFGameJam, helping young creators improve their digital capabilities through game development, mentor guidance and online courses.
After entering its second year, Bitget will continue to support GCC's expansion in course construction and geographical coverage, including adding three new countries, and promoting the implementation of AI courses. BitgetCEOGraceChen said that young people can often grow rapidly after they gain opportunities and resources. Bitget hopes to help more young people build long-term digital capabilities through this cooperation. Thomas Davin, global director of the UNICEF Innovation Office, also said that the GCC project aims to make up for the shortcomings of contemporary youth in the field of digital skills education, and will work with Bitget to empower more youth groups in urgent need of support in the future.
