Anthropic's new round of financing is valued at US$965 billion, surpassing OpenAI

On May 29, artificial intelligence company AnthropicPBC raised US$65 billion in a new round of financing, with a post-investment valuation of US$965 billion, surpassing OpenAI. This round of financing was led by Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks and Sequoia Capital. This round of large-scale financing was finalized in just a few weeks, showing strong investor demand. It was previously reported that in late April, after receiving multiple financing proposals, Anthropic had been weighing whether to seek new financing at a valuation of more than $900 billion, and then launched in-depth negotiations earlier this month.
