Data analysis Bitcoin may usher in a critical turning point in June
According to BIT analysis, Bitcoin has fallen 16% year-to-date and is entering a seasonal window of historically weak returns. Over the past ten years, the average return on Bitcoin in June was only +0.7%, and the summer months are usually dominated by shocks. However, this year's trend may not fully follow historical rules. May is usually one of the months when Bitcoin performs strongly, but this year's increase is significantly lower than the historical average, raising the probability of a seasonal reversal. At the same time, several important catalytic factors are about to be implemented, including regulated crypto perpetual futures products in the United States and the NasdaqCME crypto index futures planned to be launched on June 8. Although seasonal pressures remain, from a tactical perspective, Bitcoin may be close to a short-term bottom. If these catalytic factors bring new buying support, Bitcoin is expected to rebound.
