Robot AI training data startup MeckaAI completes $60 million in financing
MeckaAI, a robot AI training data startup, announced that it has completed a total of US$60 million in financing, including US$25 million in Series A financing in November last year and a subsequent additional investment of US$35 million. Both rounds of financing were led by FrameworkVentures, with MenloVentures, SVAngel and other institutions participating. The company was established in 2025 and currently employs about 40 people. It relies on sensors, mobile phones and customized hardware to collect human movement data such as gestures and gait to train the robot. It is different from the traditional teleoperation training mode to improve the robot's real-life adaptability. At present, the company has sufficient signed orders, and the annualized revenue operating rate is expected to reach US$100 million. Investors said MeckaAI is one of the fastest growing revenue companies in the portfolio. In the future, the company will extend its business chain, get involved in robot model training and implementation deployment, and accelerate the commercialization of related technologies.(Fortune)
