Salesforce values Anthropic investment at approximately $5 billion

After making multiple investments in Anthropic, Salesforce's stake in the company is worth approximately $5 billion. According to people familiar with the matter, the software giant participated in Anthropic's financing for the first time in early 2023, with an investment of approximately US$50 million, and has since continued to invest in subsequent financing rounds. In the process, Anthropic has become one of the fastest growing and high-profile companies in the world. Another software company that has benefited from its early investment in Anthropic is ZoomCommunications, which netted more than $1 billion through its investment in Anthropic Series C funding in early 2023.
