Trump's remarks triggered another market shock, oil prices plunged 14%

On March 23, U.S. President Trump recently issued a document stating that the United States and Iran have had a very good and fruitful dialogue in the past two days and have instructed a suspension of all military strikes on Iran's power plants and energy infrastructure for a period of five days, but only if the ongoing meetings and discussions are successful. International oil prices fell sharply. Brent crude oil futures prices once fell more than 14% to around US$96 per barrel. WTI crude oil and European natural gas prices also fell. (Jin Shi)
