NVIDIA acquires prediction AI startup KumoAI for more than $400 million

Nvidia announced it has acquired KumoAI, a software startup focused on predictive artificial intelligence, for more than $400 million, TechStartups reported. The acquisition will further expand Nvidia's AI software landscape and strengthen its competitiveness in the enterprise-level predictive analytics market. It is reported that KumoAI was founded in 2022. The basic model developed by the company can directly process structured data in enterprise data warehouse, helping enterprises quickly complete tasks such as customer churn prediction, fraud detection, demand prediction, credit risk analysis and product recommendation. KumoAI founding team joined Nvidia last month, but Nvidia declined to comment so far.
