Trump says he may participate in rebuilding Iran but will take half of the oil
On June 10, according to ABC News, U.S. President Trump hinted that if the United States destroys Iran's infrastructure, the United States may eventually have to participate in reconstruction. Trump said: "Someone has to rebuild all this infrastructure-new bridges, new this and that, new power plants. They said it would cost a trillion dollars, but it could be more. That's why we're likely to end up participating in rebuilding and helping them rebuild." Asked if it would be similar to implementing a "Marshall Plan" for Iran, Trump replied: "Yes." He then quickly added: "But we will take half of their oil."
