Buying sentiment in the U.S. market has picked up. The Coinbase Bitcoin Premium Index has turned positive for the second consecutive day.
According to Coinglass data, the Coinbase Bitcoin Premium Index has been positive for two consecutive days, and is now at 0.208%. Buying sentiment in the U.S. market has begun to pick up, having been at a negative premium for 24th consecutive days. The Coinbase Bitcoin Premium Index is used to measure the difference in the price of Bitcoin on Coinbase, a major U.S. trading platform, relative to the global market average price. The index is an important indicator for observing changes in capital flows, institutional investment enthusiasm and market sentiment in the U.S. market. A positive premium means that the price of Coinbase is higher than the global average price, which usually means: strong buying in the U.S. market, active entry of institutional or compliance funds, abundant liquidity in the U.S. dollar, and optimistic investment sentiment. A negative premium means that the price of Coinbase is lower than the global average price, which usually reflects: high selling pressure in the U.S. market, declining investor risk appetite, rising market risk aversion or capital outflows.
