Bank of America survey: Most investors expect the Fed to hold back hawks
On June 16, Bank of America's June global fund managers survey showed that investors generally expected the Federal Reserve to keep interest rates unchanged on Wednesday. About 55% of investors expect a "tight hold on," in which interest rates remain unchanged, and new Federal Reserve Chairman Walsh hints that interest rates will be kept higher for a longer period of time. 33% of investors expect a "loose hold on", in which Walsh opens the door to further interest rate cuts.
