Nasdaq plans to connect its collateral and monitoring systems to Talos's institutional trading system
According to Cointelegraph, Nasdaq plans to integrate its Calypso risk and collateral platform and transaction monitoring system with institutional trading tools from digital asset infrastructure company Talos.
The integration aims to provide institutional clients with a "unified" workflow for managing tokenized collateral and monitoring for market manipulation in cryptocurrencies and traditional assets. The move aims to alleviate bottlenecks in institutional tokenization and introduce "institution-level" compliance standards into the digital asset market.
Nasdaq cited internal research as pointing out that approximately $35 billion in collateral was frozen in "corrective and non-interest-bearing measures."
