Iran: Distrusts the United States and is preparing for both sides

On June 20, Ibrahim Rezai, spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Parliament, said in an exclusive interview that the ceasefire issue in Lebanon is Iran's red line and Iran will not back down on relevant issues. Regarding Iran-US relations, Rezai said that Iran does not trust the United States and will not normalize relations with it. Rezai emphasized that Iran and the United States are currently in a hostile state and Iran is preparing for a possible war."We don't believe what the Americans say, but act based on our own considerations," and said that Iran is also adopting negotiations and diplomatic options and will continue to negotiate with the United States.
