CZ no longer runs trading platform BNBChain is developing a new version that is faster, cheaper and with more privacy controls
Binance founder CZ participated in the GalaxyBrains podcast and received an exclusive interview with Galaxy Research Director Alex Thorn. CZ said it no longer operates a trading platform, so it has more time to communicate with developers and is excited about some of the new features of BNBChain. It said BNBChain is developing the next version, which will be faster, cheaper and incorporate more privacy controls. CZ also advises blockchain developers not to make large upgrades in bull markets, but to promote major updates when bear markets are quieter. CZ said it was skeptical of RWA a year to a year and a half ago and was unsure whether the relevant assets would be traded or whether they could develop. However, it was surprised by the speed of development of RWA, including stablecoins, oil futures, AI stocks, etc., which were well accepted in the crypto community. This suggests that many people around the world already want access to these assets. Cryptography should not be seen as an independent industry, but as a new technological tool that makes financial transactions faster, cheaper, and more transparent. It believes that traditional financial institutions can use blockchain, and crypto companies can also provide similar traditional financial services such as loans, savings, stock trading, remittances and payments. The future should not have a clear demarcation between traditional finance and crypto, but should become a more global, faster, and lower-cost financial industry.
