Hurun Research Institute today released the "2026 Global Unicorn List". Driven by the wave of AI, the total value of global unicorns surged 43% to US$8 trillion. Among them, AI tracks account for 36% of the total value, with Anthropic (US$965 billion), OpenAI (US$852 billion) and ByteDance (US$480 billion) ranking among the top three in the global list; China company DeepSeek ranks among the top 15 with a valuation of US$50 billion, becoming the highest-ranked new unicorn.<br /> In the field of encryption and blockchain, there are 67 unicorn companies in the world. Among them, the valuation of crypto trading platform Binance increased by US$35 billion during the year, with a total valuation reaching US$70 billion, ranking among the top ten in the global list for the first time (ranking 8th). In addition, the report pointed out that crypto companies such as Circle, BitGo, Gemini and HashKey have exited the unicorn series through successful IPOs in the past year.
