On March 23, online detective ZachXBT disclosed today that a collaborative network composed of at least 10 accounts is gathering traffic on social platform X by creating war and other related panic content, and ultimately diverting traffic to crypto fraud projects. By purchasing accounts with existing fan bases, the network frequently publishes sensational "Doomsday" content, and uses multiple accounts to forward and amplify each other, quickly gaining millions of page views and a lot of interactions. Surveys show that these accounts also use AI to generate fake characters, such as forging the "Asian version of MarioNawfal" to enhance credibility. After obtaining traffic, the relevant accounts will promote false airdrop activities or encryption project scams, including the centralized promotion of a pull-up shipment project called ORAMAMA on February 22, 2026, which will not be mentioned later. On-chain data shows that this operation has brought six-figure benefits to the team behind it. At the same time, a large number of real U.S. accounts unintentionally participate in interactions during comments and retweets, further amplifying the effect of content dissemination. ZachXBT warned that this combination model of "traffic farm AI content encryption fraud" is highly mature and easy to replicate. If similar mechanisms are used by higher-level organizations, their potential impact will far exceed the scope of financial fraud and may even evolve into a tool for public opinion manipulation. ZachXBT called on the platform to strengthen supervision, ban and hold legal accountability for such manipulation. At the same time, users are advised to carefully check account history and information sources before participating in interactions to deal with the increasingly widespread phenomenon of false content and "interactive bait".
