Multicoin: HYPE may reach US$319 by 2028

On June 26, Multicoin released a report stating that the market has seriously underestimated the value of Hyperliquid native token HYPE and believes that it still has more than 400% room for growth in the next few years. The agency expects that under the basic scenario, HYPE prices could reach approximately US$319 by 2028. Multicoin believes that the current market views Hyperliquid too narrowly as a fast-growing decentralized perpetual contract exchange, but in fact it is evolving into an "Everything Exchange" covering multiple asset and multiple trading scenarios. The report stated that at the current price of approximately $63, HYPE was clearly mispriced. Multicoin predicts that by 2028, Hyperliquid's annualized profit may reach approximately US$8 billion. If valued at a 20-fold profit multiple, the corresponding HYPE price will be approximately US$319. Multicoin also disclosed that it has been actively buying HYPE since February this year, and HYPE has now become one of the largest positions in its liquid hedge funds. Recently, HYPE broke through US$76 to a record high, driven by positive ETF inflows, strong agreement revenue and aggressive repurchase plans. Then, with the market correction, it was reported at approximately US$62.47 as of Thursday afternoon.
