The US CFTC report shows that equity fund managers increased their net long position in the S & P 500 to 987977 lots

Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) data showed that in the week ended June 23, equity fund managers increased their net long positions in the S & P 500 index CME by 4,547 lots to 987,977 lots. At the same time, equity fund speculators reduced their net short positions in the S & P 500 CME by 146,022 lots to 355,669 lots.
