Resolv stablecoin USR plunged 70% due to US$80 million vulnerability and was unanchored and now reported at US$0.27
On March 23, attackers minted approximately $80 million in unsecured USR due to a leak of the private key. ResolvLabs 'stablecoin USR has lost its anchor with the US dollar and is currently priced at approximately $0.27. Currently, approximately $95 million in assets support approximately $173 million in USR, and the overall mortgage ratio is only about 55%. Among users holding before the incident, priority redeemors expect to recover approximately $0.93 for every $1. Resolv has suspended relevant contracts and reminded users not to trade USR until recovery work is completed. The attack is also expected to generate bad debts in parts of the DeFi lending market that use USR as collateral.
