SK Hynix officially launches U.S. stock listing marketing promotion process
According to Jin Shi reports. SK Hynix officially launched its marketing and promotion process for U.S. stock listings on Monday, in order to take advantage of investors 'continued enthusiasm for the memory chip sector and promote listing in the United States.
According to the application documents, SK Hynix plans to sell American depositary receipts corresponding to approximately 17.79 million ordinary shares. Based on the closing price of the Korean market last Friday, the issuance size is approximately US$28 billion. As a leading supplier of HBM chips, SK Hynix's listing in the United States has opened up efficient financing channels for it.
Based on previously disclosed regulatory documents, SK Hynix expects its American Depositary Receipts to be officially listed for trading on July 10 (this Friday). Based on the current proposed issuance size, this ADR offering will rank among the top three largest new share offerings in history (the specific amount depends on the exchange rate), and is expected to be on par with Saudi Aramco's US$29.4 billion IPO size in 2019.
